We have been learning how to write a recount.As a year 6's we need to say who, why, what, where, when and how. We need to write in first person (I) and are told in past tense.we have been focusing on using dialogue, emotions and strong vocabulary.
We watched a YouTube video about a diver being Swallowed by a whale and listened to his Interviewer .You can watch video here.
Here is my Interviewer that I wrote ,imagining I was the diver and telling my recount of this experience.
Interviewer: were you taking photos of before you got swallowed by the Whale ?
Diver I was taking photos of the sardines because it was very cool and fun to look that an I noticed that it can attract sharks,whales and lot of marine animals .
Interviewer:before the whale grabbed you did you see the Whale coming to you ?
Diver I did not see the big whale come to me .
Interviewer: what did it feel like when you where inside the Whale ?Diver It was pushed my head together and I could feel the pressure and could feel the pressure and instantly.I hope you were entertained! Please let me know what your thought about my post in the comments below.
